Advanced Programs

Sharpsburg Elementary School offers a strong Gifted and Talented Educational (GATE) experience. Our GATE teacher, Mrs. Ashley Stotelmyer, has created one of the most dynamic programs in WCPS! She collaborates with all teachers to assist with meeting & accelerating students' learning needs. She has spent months coordinating our school's EGATE designation, which is a high honor within the state.
